Be Present – respond only to what is happening now, in this moment.
Examine Thoughts – our thinking is rooted in either fear or love. Only thoughts that bring peace are rooted in love. Thoughts rooted in fear bring suffering and are not from our authentic self.

Community – connecting and being connected to others
Creativity – using our gifts and talents to express our uniqueness
Purpose – being valued for our role as a member of the community, our ability to meet the needs of others and/or our expression of our creativity.
Recognize Viewpoints – nothing anyone says or does is about you. We all act and react according to our own viewpoint. No one has the same viewpoint. The words and actions of others are intended to meet their need(s).
Seek Truth – we can’t know that our perceptions are real or accurate. We have to communicate with others to know what’s real and true.
Practice Gratitude – focus on what you are thankful for, cultivate positive thoughts.
Let Go – forgive yourself and others. No one is perfect.
Start Anew – begin each day with a new commitment to do you best to adhere to these principles.
